Umbrella, a shadow puppet fairy tale, utilizes umbrellas in all their forms (photo, rain, cocktail) to narrate the tragic story of a beautiful princess, her tyrannical uncle, her impoverished kingdom, and a wish-granting eel.

This piece was created in the spring of 2020, and is the first of LICK's projects- a collaboration between Natthew Marvan and Camille Cooper, starring Alice Bethke as narrator.
